Respironics’ PLV Continuum offers adult and pediatric patients,
their physicians and health care providers options in treating respiratory
diseases. The advanced, sleek, new portable ventilator is designed
with the capability to program a primary and alternate set of parameters
that provides patients with a distinct ventilation prescription for
daytime and nighttime breathing comfort.
This built-in versatility makes the PLV Continuum suitable for a broad
range of
patients who need this flexibility for an improved quality of life.
With an easy-to-read, easy-to-navigate graphical user interface, users
will find the PLV Continuum easy to set up, monitor and use. Operating
as either a Pressure
Control Ventilator (PCV) or Volume Control Ventilator (VCV), it offers
five different modes of operation.
