- The Inter-Therm range of sterile heat and moisture exchange filters is designed for use in breathing systems in the operating theatre and the intensive care unit. Traditionally, breathing filters have been designed to retain bacteria and viruses when presented as an aerosol in breathing systems in order to reduce the possibility of cross infection. Our new range of breathing filters has been specifically designed to address not only an aerosol challenge but also a liquid borne challenge. This, combined with a wound paper HME media provides a further choice for our customers.
