The face masks are manufactured from chloroprene, a synthetic material with similar attributes to natural rubber (NRL) but without the associated danger of Type 1 (protein) allergies.

The masks are fully autoclavable up to a temperature of 137 degrees C, and have an anatomical shape and inflatable cuff. The masks also include a special valve that allows controlled cuff inflation and deflation as required.
