Smoothbore tubing incorporates flexible end connectors at the machine end that are welded on to the tube; this feature ensures that there is no leakage or disconnection. The Smoothbore tube option gives improved ventilatory support with the following benefits and advantages:

- Minimal water collection within the system and improved drainage
- Lower tubing compliance
- Clear crush-resistant tube

Breathing Systems with Ported Y-piece and Resealable Water Traps - Intersurgical (ISG) |

These breathing systems are available for use with a variety of water bath humidifiers that do not require heated wire breathing systems. All of these systems incorporate the Intersurgical re-sealable water trap for collection of condensate. The Intersurgical water trap, when opened for emptying, seals itself to prevent pressure reduction within the system.
